Deep in the bowels of the planet, The Yellow Princess and her friend, FR1END, have found the remains of an ancient automaton society! Is this the beginning of a new adventure, or the end of this one?

(that's supposed to be ominous and threatening).

Dr Dog and his Robo-bird...

Doctor Dog (yes, he got a lot of crap about the name) wasn't the sort to mess about with cadavers and dangerous chemical infusions. Nosireebob! He skips straight over the biometric equation and leaps face-first into robotics!

Sometimes, when all hope is lost, when everything seems to be unhinged at the centre... a hero arrives from our techno-archaic past! GIANT ROBOT Vs SNAKE-GOD! >Ka-CHANG!<

And for all you artsy types, this is the pre-colour version of the above self-same vision of ultimate war! (what is it good for? Absolutely nothing - except awesome robot-snake fights)

And I drew this one for my #1Son. He's on a bit of a Norse kick right now, and I liked the idea of Marvel's Thor actualising a storm-in-a-teacup. (tee hee). >ZARK!<

Yellow Princess - dinosharks...

slime and monsters and stuff... it's almost Xmas eve!

The yellow princess and her Woodland chum ride high! The princess is friends to all manner of creature, big and small, flesh and steel! Today she stands hard against the powers of meanness and bad ideas! Her water rifle is full, and action is on the cusp... of... um... happening! YEAH!


The Scarlett Pilot is the Yellow Princess' older brother. He spent 100yrs trapped in the hollow earth, during which time his experimental jet went online, became sentient and then upgraded itself with the power of awe-some! WOOOSH!


Prairie Dog Sue (also Prairie Dog Sioux).
We don't know much about who Sue was, or what she did. It's likely she had some sort of cowgirl motif going on, which is odd because this...pseudo daguerreotype was found in the ruins of Venice.


MONTER-SAURUS! Part monster, part dinosaur, ALL FUNK!

RETURN OF THE YELLOW PRINCESS

The Yellow Princess and her robot companion, 'Friend'.

Seven cycles passed before the princess felt ready to leave the Amber Citadel and rejoin her family on the royal homeworld.

Her brother, the Scarlet Pilot was still listed as missing, but she knew (because he was that way inclined) that he was almost certainly not 'missing'. Instead, he was likely 'otherwise detained'. *snort* boys! etc etc.

Her best friend, a mechanical man who had accompanied her everywhere since she was less than a baby, advised her to rest easy, but the princess was eager to be away at once. There was a mystery on the space-lanes and she was determined to track it down!

Croc Killers + Girlbots...

Girlbot! This is what happens when you forget to wear your robot pants. I drew this one while The Daughter was drawing random words (which I naturally had to spell for her). I like the idea that our robot pilot would wear cut-offs under the armour.......

Sometimes you can't predict how the day will unfold. You turn up 3 aces, and then everything goes to shit! That's why you keep a flare gun on hand at all times. I drew this during the same father-son drawing lesson. More to come...

Wibbly Ro-bot Guy

On the Barren fields of Ulu-Jalan, the mighty ro-bots do battle and play! Unit 3, stricken with a deep craving for... whatever robots crave is almost blind with wibbly-arms and does not see his nemeses, the flat-heads, rise out of the... um... the behind-the-hill-ness!

Of Monkeys and Men

Here be the monkey king, all a-floaty and mysterious! (he's talking to the king of rocks, who will not let the pilgrims pass)
Jin Tanah - the spirit of the place (as soon as I know more about the Jin Tanah, I'll write it up, but for now be afraid of his awesome place-based magicks!)



Toyol - the magicked monster created from a dead child, and sent to do evil in the world! Scarier than all heck!
Meanwhile, offworld - a rougher crowd of non-humans you'll find nowhere (ok, you will, but not in this drawings)
And then there was power-armour (useful for washing the car, walking the dog and fighting the mongrel-cur who would intrude upon your post-apocolyptian (is that a word?) idyl!!!

Meeting Robot

So we had a team meeting, and I was talking and drawing and not thinking, and this robot sort of evolved on the page...

I think he's a hamburger delivery robot, and his name is 'Texas Pete', but he lives in Batu Pahat, where he met a lovely She-Bot. (She works in an iron smelting plant as a bucket tip+fill control system. She's not much to look at, but WOW, she can process 47.352 smelting buckets in a 30 minute shift-cycle).

What's the plan?

Ok, it's a hypothetical series, cos I haven't done them yet.
