Monks and Pirates and Frontier Life!

Ladies on the frontier must always be prepared for the worst possible contingencies, specifically those involving bandits, brigands and brush salesmen! Edna Euphamiassen practices regularly with her single-shot 'Budhapster's Reporter'. She can reportedly take a man's dignity at 400yards (what's a yard?)

On the other side of the equation are those wild horsemen (and Antelope-men) of the eastern plains! Tattoo-ed and hungry, they will stampede the tiny settlements if only to watch television, before riding into the dusty sunset while small boys say, 'that wasn't so bad, was it now?'. (Cue interesting mongolian remix of Ennio Morricone's spaghetti western scores.

Filthy pirates and their nautical habits! Red-eyed Stanley here is a master of ropes and strings and stuff.

MORE PIRATEY TYPES! (this fellow spent FAR too long looking at the cover of Prince Charming! 'Try and use a mirror, not a bullet or a kniiiiiiife!')

Pangolin's are ALWAYS getting caught up in one sort of crazy or another. This chap isn't just a religious type, he's ALSO carrying a burning sphere (he claims it's magical and stuff, but really it's just on fire!)

The glorious warrior and his singing blade.

His name was silent, but his tongue was not! He fought for the people, standing firm in court as he stepped up to speak (and often fight) for the little folk.

And when the speakin' were done, he'd let his blade sing for him. and BOY did it sing!

ALLTHEGODDAMNTIME!!! 'SHADDUP ALREADY', shouted Justice Dee! 'COME ON NOW!' said the Jade Emperor from his radiant seat in heaven. And still the blade sang.

Mostly mariah carey crap, but sometimes it'd do showtunes too.

Wibbly Ro-bot Guy

On the Barren fields of Ulu-Jalan, the mighty ro-bots do battle and play! Unit 3, stricken with a deep craving for... whatever robots crave is almost blind with wibbly-arms and does not see his nemeses, the flat-heads, rise out of the... um... the behind-the-hill-ness!

Pirates and Puritans and a whole passel o' trouble!

Listening to Hoyt Curtin's EXCELLENT BotP soundtrack and tidying up pics for the ol' Bloggo. What more could a man need?I think this image is Sun Wu Kong the day after his birthday, when he HAS to wear the new hat his monkey-mummy gave him, but he doesn't really want to cos it's a floppy hat, and floppy hats are SOOOOO last epoch, and besides, how will he achieve enlightenment with this stupid hat falling in his eyes allathetime! WARGH!

The Wombat is the sleakest of all water-dwelling mammals. With his thick downy coat and prehensile tail, he is well adapted to the darkest parts of the ocean, where he wrestles with giant molluscs and the occasional recalcitrant zoologist.

This pair set out from Bathurst town at 11am. The puritan stopped to witness 13 times, while the pirate spent his time waylaying coach-tynes and pillaging. Who reached Lithgow first?
With colour, I am still disgruntled and almost peevish!
